The Connecticut Yankee Council and Sailaway Sailing School embark on a new journey together
The Connecticut Yankee Council is the local chapter of the Boy Scouts of America. We provide programs and services to more than 7,000 girls and boys in Fairfield, New Haven and parts of Hartford counties. When we heard Beth Wright was retiring after 16 years of running one of the best sailing schools on the coast, we jumped at the chance to continue the legacy she built for the youth in our community. The school is open for the 2022 season, offering the same summer program for kids as in previous years. Scroll down to register. You do not need to be a Scout to attend Sailaway Sailing School.
